Here are some photos I recently took in Woomera.
They are a Blue Steel, Canberra, remains of another Canberra, an Australian Army KingAir, Meteor, damage to the Meteor wing caused by having the aileron locks (???) fitted incorrectly, Sea Slug missile, Jindivik and a general view of the terrain. There are lots of missiles and rockets on display all over the village but not too much aircraft wise.

U.10 to Woomera
WH705 photo at Changi is July 1962. One of the last batch of U.10s and shot down (probably by a Thunderbird 2) in April 1965.

Paul:
Thanks for showing us what’s still visible there of it’s days as the ‘premier range’.
Here’s one of the Canberra U10’s, WH705 passing through Changi 1962 or 3. Off to be blown up. A sad end to an aircraft still then in front line service.

Blue Steel Valiant WZ373 taxies in at Changi, returning home. You can see the bomb-bay cutout that the Valiants had.
Tim McLelland nicely explains the history behind the ‘UK Bomb’ and the Blue Steel stand off bombs in his last Vulcan book.
