Photo's of Aircraft/Bomb Tugs

Doe’s anybody have any photo’s of RAF Bomb /Aircraft tugs , I’m looking specifically for photos of the Fordson N’s used during WW2 , any Ferguson Industrials used immediately postwar and later photo’s of the David Brown Industrials – I know – collecting tractors is a sad hobby but aircraft won’t fit in my barn to they’ll have to do at present.

RE: Photo’s of Aircraft/Bomb Tugs

I already have a few tractors , but I’m mostly interested in the Fergie TE’s and the DB’s as they had industrial modifications which make them stand out from the agricultural versions ,DB’s with the full industrial mudguards and running boards are quite rare , when they were sold from RAF service a lot of the lighting , running boards and hydraulic braking systems were often removed and then they were run into ground by building contractors.I have a DB with most of the “bits” on her , but most of is only fit for making patterns from , I have Fergies , which are still working tractors , and they are a bit easier to convert to RAF spec as they kept the same braking system and had fewer modifications , I really need photos or help from anybody who can help me with RAF markings – or doe’s anybody have any old Bomb Trollies lying around !!!!

David Brown tugs were used during the was as well as the Fordson’s.
The are about and reasonably easy to acquire. I wouldn’t say it’s a particularily sad hobby – your not likely to get your hands on a Lanc
so the tractor that towed it’s bombs makes a nice substitute.
