Photos of G-BOML?

Does anyone happen to have any good photos of the OFMC Buchon, G-BOML, after it returned to flight in 1998?

I’m looking for some good photos to help with building a 1/48th scale Bf109G-6 in a similar paint scheme. Google mostly brings up the Breitling colours which, although nice, aren’t what I’m after!

Thanks in advance.

I’m now rethinking the ‘109 model build – I may do it as the Memphis Belle colours (or as close an approximation as I can manage), and restore my old Buchon model into the Reich defence scheme.

Ah, yes! I forgot about the Pik-As markings and all!

I would agree on that scheme, too. If I didn’t have my heart set on the Defence of the Reich scheme for this project, I would have done that!

Daz, it didn’t. These were the later colours that Nick had it in after piece of cake. It had them on at the Coventry Airshow. It’s an Udet badge from memory. When OFMC received it the colours were altered to have the Ace of Spades/ JG53 Pik-As emblem like the one that G-AWHE now wears. The spinner was also changed to the spiral pattern. Probably the best scheme it ever wore was the early one as used in Memphis Belle in my opinion.

Nice shots. Didn’t realise the Buchon wore a badge with her Memphis Belle colours, though.

Nice.

I notice the camo pattern isn’t the usual splinter type – handy!

Cheers for those. I was hoping a topside shot would turn up at some point!
