Good shots. I was there too, really enjoyed Frank Chapman chasing that loo roll.
Moggy, good shot of the Gemini, first time I’ve seen it display. Lovely aircraft.

We really should stop not meeting like this – first Madingley now Old Warden – wherever next – I will be at Duxford next Sunday for the large model association flying display!

Having spent most of the previous Sunset with my eye glued to a viewfinder I reverted to type at this one and actually watched the aircraft instead.
OW are really trying hard, three Moths in a formation take-off tied together, the Chippy tossing bog rolls out at altitude and slicing them with its prop, tons of entertainment, yet still shed loads of truly unique aircraft.
I particularly enjoyed the ‘Visitors Sprint’
(The show overan to give us the the ancient aircraft so there was many a visiting pilot heading back for unlit fields and possibly without night ratings. The second the show was finished these individuals could be seen legging for their aircraft like some frantic 1940s scramble)
Marks to Vintage ATCO for getting them all off safely.
Nice to hear David Ogilvy again on the mike, whose ‘Old Buffer’ style so suits Shuttleworth.
Did pick up the camera once though.
