Hello everyone,
I’m looking for a couple of photos and wondered if anyone out there might be to help.
The first is of Spitfire Mk 14. RM617, flying with 91 (Nigeria) Squadron RAF, based at West Malling. This aircraft was lost in a crash on June 25, 1944 killing the young Australian pilot.
The second is a photo of Gloster Meteor NF Mk 14 WS727, from 153 Squadron, which crashed on 09 Jan 1956, with the loss of both crew. This aircraft was also flying from West Malling. I have copies of photos taken at the crash site of this aircraft, but I’ve not been able to find a photo of this aircraft prior to the crash.
Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe it helps when you mention the Aircraft types and serials in the title of this thread.
