Shot in Las Vegas, one of the rarest seen P47s around. It looks as if the pilot is standing in the cockpit for unknown reasons. BW Roger

No the TFC indian head is taken from the laffiette squadrons, the american pilots that flew with the french during the first world war.
The marking of this A/C are from the 56th FG 61st FSqn the A/C was called “Big Chief”. The fighter ace Cpt Robert S, Johnson flew with the code HV-P but I don’t think this was one of his aircraft.

Isnt the cheiftains head the same as that used by TFC?
