Embraer has posted a massive pic of the first flight of its new flagship the E190. Dial-ups be aware though! This photo is a massive 3072×2048 pixels. That’s 2,12mb!

It’s a Static Source Error Calibration Tool for Flight Test and RVSM Certification.
I really didn’t know that answer, but did copy it and paste it from here. 🙂

Might sound stupid in terms of the technology in use today, but could it be a trailing aerial?

One great looking aeroplane.
I don’t know the purpose of the cable hanging off the top of the fin but the item at the back end of it will be a cone. When I used to tow gliders we used a funnell just before the end of the rope. This had the effect of stabilising the rope when there was no load on it and stopped it swinging all over the place.

Great looking aircraft, I used to like the EMB 170, but I think it looks a bit stumpy, the EMB 190 looks great.
Bahnhaus, for someone who has never been an active member on these forums I recommend shutting up, this is a friendly community and idiots like you have no place here.

That is one great looking aircraft. Anyone know who has those 10 orders (other than the JetBlue 100)??
