For all you Turkey lovers out there, here’s one of the last shots of the F-14 being launched from the Big E. 09/11/01 saw the End of an era when VF-41 flew from the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) for the last time, the rope being passed over to the F/A-18E’s and F’s now.
So I guess you could say that the Turkey got the chop! Sorry bad joke!
