Pic of the day 13/01/02

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-01-02 AT 03:48 PM (GMT)]This is a rare bird indeed, it’s the only flying boomerang in original condition. This is a CA-13 that served in the PNG during 1943.
Look for the Fiat G-55 in the back ground.

The Boomerang in the states wasn’t compleatly original, it, like most of the others, use havard parts, frames and wings. As I said this is the only original Boomerang. There is another being restored but it won’t be flying 🙁

What happened to the one in the USA? I assume it crashed?
