Definately…has anyone seen the ATC film ‘pushing Tin’! If you have, you’ll know about the power in a 747 vortex!

Imagine if the aircraft was a 747!!!!!! Then the vortex would’ve done some damage!

This photo was took at either Madrid or Barcelona – But it was certainly one of the two big Spanish airports. That A320 is well below the glide slope, and I’m surprised it didn’t cause one or two cars to have a ‘slight’ accident….I’m sure those drivers must have felt their vehicles shudder due to the vortex.

I saw a similar thing at RAF Coningsby some years ago, a highsided lorry ignored the red traffic light that stopped traffic when an aircraft turned finals and carried on, moments later a Tornado F.3 passed over the road, could of been nasty, sorry, have’nt got a picture though.
Cheers, Dazza.

Fantastic! That looks close. Where abouts is that Kab? He must be below the GS to be that low.
Is it Corfu where they used to (or may still) close the road when a/c are on t/o or landing because they were so low?
