It says on Airliners that the 747 was on finals and that the aircraft from which the pic was taken, an A319 was also approaching the runway.

Some great pics from SFO.
I remember when we flew there we had a smaller aircraft at the side of us (VS 744), I think it was a Saab or Beach, pretty amazing to see how close they get.
