it’s so unique i like it. Hopefully should get up to see one of the later departures this year from LBA now they run in 3x weekly as opposed to 1x last year after a 2 year absence!

I’m fairly sure that Aeroflot use the 737 to ATH now but Pulkovo Airlines, which was the Leningrad division of the pre-1990 Aeroflot, do still use the TU154M and sometimes the IL86 to Athens, and LHR come to that.

I’d love to fly one of these types. What does Aeroflot operate into ATH nowadays?

Guys, you’ve got to fly these Tupolevs before they all disappear. I have flown on many types of aircraft but have never experienced such rapid acceleration and rate of climb, in particular the Tu134A.
Unforgetable!

Great photo Andrew, let’s see more of your work? 😀

I’m undecided on the Tu-154, I just cannot decide whether I like it or not. It’s truely a unique aircraft, but it’s just got something about it I’m not so keen on.

Anyway, I’ve spent my 2000th post wisely! Yippee!

Nice one Andrew, one of the nicer post 1990 liveries on the Tu154
