Obviously a U2 pilot !. They always land one wheel, iether that or he’s ex Navy and isn’t used to the runway being stationary !!

Yes Dan, same technique in 2 or 3 engine jets. In 4 engine (wing mounted) jets they recommend the crab technique to avoid scraping an engine pod. The 707 only had a 5 degree roll limit before scraping a nacelle followed by P45 in the pigeon hole. (For non-UK readers a P45 means being fired!)

Don’t know about the big boys, but in the Cessna’s your supposed to land on one wheel in a crosswind. Turn the aircraft into the wind with opposite rudder. Looks scary to us though I have to admit.

lol – brilliant!!
I swear the BA A319 I was on in Feburary landed like that at Heathrow. It definitely landed on just one set of rear wheels.

Thats part of training sessions of KLM when they are given conditions to land with winds over 25 knots.
