RE: Pic Of The Day – looong!

757-200’s can either have larger emergency exits behind the wing or smaller dual overwing exits. The larger exit behind the wing is far more common. The 757-300 has both.

Great picture, this reminds me of a trip to Majorca I did in 97, with Britannia, our flight missed its slot because of a few late passengers, and we ended up in a queue about half the size of this one.

This shows the problem of the US not having a slot system. Dreadful queues, tonnes of fuel wasted unnecessarily.

United haven’t got any 753’s so it must be a -200.

Where is the picture taken at? Somewhere in the US thats busy and hot, West Coast by the looks of it. LAX springs to mind but the background doesn’t look built up enough.

RE: Pic Of The Day – looong!

nah, United dosen’t have any 753’s.

They have a second overwing on the 752’s rather than a door behind the wing, meaning they can fit an extra row or two in rather than having a galley there.

I think there are a few US airlines that have gone for that option.

Ok, I might be the only one but I actually don’t mind the 753! I think it looks a little strange but cool.

I don’t really like the A346 much though….

Nice pic btw.

RE: Pic Of The Day – looong!

I thought by the title – looong, you were going to post a photo of the 757-300 or the equally revolting A340-600.

To my surprise, you didn’t! 😛

Nice to see United leading the way – that better not be a 753!!!
