4 blade prop was on the 200 series. 6 blade on the 500.

it’s an ATR-72 – don’t think it’l be a -500 tho, prob a -200.

That makes a lot of sense. Malta is a big stop off point on the migration routes.

While I’m sure in reality there was a small amount of lateral separation the size of that flock that close to an active commercial airport is scary!
