I hope people do not mind me posting these, only two shots at the moment of Eros in a snow globe for Christmas 2013.

During WW2 Eros was boarded up for the duration to protect it from shrapnel damage.

No, the second shot is taken to the right of where the first one was shot from.

Moggy is right the second shot is taken slightly to the right of the first, both were from the junction and taken as quick as possible because “It’s like Piccadilly Circus” round there 😀 . Joking aside I love doing photography in London as there is always something different to capture.
I found the snow effect a little disappointing to be honest, its very fine and doesn’t show up well in the day or night. I also think the globe needs a bit of lighting to help the effect, but other than that I think it’s really nice idea and it protects Eros too.

Ah I’d read about this, are there times when snow actually flies about inside the globe ?
Nice shots, you must have been standing on exactly the same spot both times.
