Went to Brooklands Air Museum today… which is on the site of the old Brooklands race track, and where Vickers aircraft used to be made.

Allen, indeed it is! I have pics from onboard, as well as pics of the 1-11 from the outside, and the vickers Vanguard from the outside. 🙂

Last time i was there there was no VC10 nose section but i also have been on G-APIM 🙂

This VC-10 section was used by vickers when VC-10 development started. It was used for Pressure Tests. It has now been painted in to the BOAC livery.
