We have put photos of ourselves, but lets make some tourism. What´s your city like?. Mine is rich and small, but active and well equiped. Full of parks and lieing on a hill and surounded by other seven. One of the sacred cities of mankind, touristical, cultural capital of the Nortwest of Spain, offers nice monuments and an astonishing old town.

RE: Pics of your city, please.
Well I’ve also got hay fever. Really shite. My nose is so red I look like a clown or a drunk. OK maybe I am a little bit of both, but that doesn’t mean I wanna look like one.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 28-09-02 AT 06:33 AM (GMT)]Well, I guess that’s the advantage we have in many European cities, the architecture is lovely. But indeed, our gov’t has to pay huge amounts of money to keep those buildings safe from gas exhausts and other pollutions. The heart of Leuven, and this should be in all cities, holds no facilities for traffic. Since 60 % of the Leuven population are students, and most of the times don’t have a car, the car can be banned from the city. Same in Antwerp.
My college is in the central library, the big building on the city square. The other building is the city hall.

Jonesy: Your Liverpool is much much nicer than ours here, we have the lower end of the education line living in ours, which is really sad, Girls how are 14 with babies of their own all because they don’t want to work and would rather the government give them money. Guys who don’t want to work and would rather spend money on their cars rather than pay child support. Not a nice area at all!
Gef: Lovely mate, I wish we had architecure like that here, our builings are all new things and the oldest ones are falling down due to the level of polution :'( Very Sad.

JAG: You’re alive buddy wow, hey mate long time no hear, still up for coffee and a chat?
I’ve got to get up to Coaldale and do a shoot soon, maybe next week, and I also want to get into town and do some of Crown street plaza, these guys down in Melbourne have got me running around like mad now.
I did some the other day of my ISP and when I was there the Westpac Rescue Helo came in at the hospital, I did get a couple of pics but I don’t know if they will turn out due to me being in the wrong place (Sun). I’ll see if I can get up to Lovers Look out at Figtree and take some from up there.

You are right Keltic, its way to expensive to get here. Why come to a European destination when for the same price you could go to the USA?Its a shame because Guernsey is such a beautiful place.

Wollongong
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-09-02 AT 12:25 PM (GMT)]Here are three that I have now sold to a company down in Melbourne for printing as post cards.
Wollongong is the next city south of Sydney, as well as me, JAG also comes from here. it is 90Km south, and is the heart of the Australian coal industry.
As well as the coal we have the best University in Australia and we are about to receive a boom in the form of a huge computer industry (The likes of IBM and Microsoft are setting up a major HQ in Wollongong- which will help now that the Steel industry has announced it’s shut down). Nowra is about a two hour drive south of here and we share a commonaility with that area, NAS Norwa HMAS Albatross is located there, and the navy fly regular training missions up here to Wollongong. Illawarra Regional Airport, has just received a Federal government grant for a A$43M upgrade, so now we might have an airline service here.

Wombat ,
I don’t think so , but maybe you can find pictures not as famous as the Opera or the bay….
For the same reason I don’t dare to post the Eiffel tower or Notre Dame cathedral ….

Guys
I’d love to post pictures of Sydney, but you probably got sick to death of seeing the place on TV during the Olympics…

RE: Pics of your city, please.
thats where im from too
here is the rabie sumary of Medway (the conurbation of towns that gillingham and many others are in)
rochester is a jekyle and hyde town – during the day its a tourist place for all the dikens peopel, caste and catherderal, etc but on friday and saturday nights lots and lots of people go on pub crawl (ok i’ve done this too :-))
gillingham has i agree got very little goign for it
chatham has laods of shops for thenlocals but iis getting a reputation for locla girls who dress in a particular style – they are the new essex girls if you know what i mean.
strood – well – er – wear a flack jacket and drive an apc through some area right 😀 😀 😀 – ok its not that bad at all and i suspose comapred to israel or america its peacful but its pretty violent in some parts (that why there is a river between strood and the rest of us :D)
walderslade – now this is where i live – some posh parts some council estates – was bad in places a few years ago but now its much better
the pictures posted already show most of it 🙂
