Today I found back an old picture of my grandfather and his collegues guarding a German aircraft that had landed in neutral Holland. Many aircraft landed in the south-west of the Netherlands during WWI. My grandfather was stationed in Groede in Zeeuws Vlaanderen in 1917. As far as I have discovered, the aircraft is probably a DFW CV. Does anyone have more information about this specific aircraft and the location?
