After successfully posting photo’s on to this forum for several months now I have now ecountered a problem.
After keeping the post below the 100 KB mark I submit the post ok. However on my PC the Pic always appears incomplete or with horizontal banding running across the image.
Can anyone tell me what’s wrong.
Here’s a sample pic. Does it appear OK at your end.

Freeserve have recently changed some of their settings regards to ADSL customers, most Freeserve users now have to go through a proxy. Its part of what was mentioned above, that ISPs are struggling to meet bandwidth demands, hence the move to proxy servers. Those Freeserve users that are experiencing problems need to check the proxy box in their internet connections options.
Kind regards

Sorry to bring this up again but I have tried everything to resolve this with no success.
I have uninstalled Photo shop and Re installed.
Cleared hard drive of all non essential files.
Defraged Hard drive
Run Scan disk
Checked all connections
Contacted my ISP (NTL)
Upgraded to Outlook Express 6
But I still cannot load a picture without it breaking up.
Any suggestions will be gratefully aprieciated.

Thanks Robbo for the PM,
What you said about ISP’s putting a limit on bandwidth could be the problem I’m having.
I’m with NTL, and I read only last week that several ISP’s are struggling to cope, due to the number of people using File-sharing sites.

Some of you may have noticed I have been having probvlems posting pictures of late.
After trying every fix I know with the PC, including the software, I have now come to the conclusion that my Broadband connection is at fault.
So if you ever expierience a similar problem, try the ISP connection first.
