I was thinking of a Meteor nose with refuelling probe too, until I saw a photo of the 245 Sqn aircraft where the probe is at the extreme tip of the nose.
Somehow I don’t see the shape of the mystery object being Meteor-like, looks more Lockheedish to me!
Anyway, I give up!

2. The Mark No.
3. What location or aircraft. Clue it’s ‘in store’ at a major museum.
