Pictures and more from Molde in Norway

Hi there!

I´m new to this forum and want to share with You all some pictures and more from my hometown airport in Molde on the northwestern coast of Norway.

I have also made an unofficial homepage for this airport http://www.molde-airport.com.
Here You can find news, pictures, videoes and even an radar showing live aircraft movements for the western and central parts of Norway. You can also see some trans Atlantic flights betveen Scandinavia and Norhern America.

The site is not 100% complete yet, and the radar is not running 24/7 for the time beeing, but in the next few weeks all this will be taken care of.

Here are a few pics from the airport.

SAS is the most comon airliner at the airport

Last time I was in Molde, I think it was one of the coldest ever winters.
The temperature in the North was close to minus 50deg.
We travelled there from Oslo in an Audi with spiked wheels at breakneck speeds through the night on roads covered with about 200mm of ice.
I think those wheels are banned now. When we arrived in Molde it was around minus 40 deg I think. Two days later I departed from the airport with Braathens on a beautiful sunny day with the jet blast blowing clouds of powder snow into the air.A wonderful sight.

Yes, it can be quite cold here! The record in minus degrees at the airport (in celcius) are 24.
