this was something that was touched on during Moggy C’s thread with ‘those colour pictures’..
I’m posting this on behalf of us out here without the talent or suitable equipment (oo-er!!) to produce the superb images which are often posted here.
What is the feeling amongst those who post these images about us mere mortals downloading copies for our own personal consumption ?
just a thourght, don’t want to start anything ‘heavy’..

To those kind enough to say they enjoyed / printed my pictures – thank you. Anyone is welcome to download them for non-commercial use, I’d be very proud.
Anyhow I have retired from aircraft photography again now, my Legends total was five shots of Kev, Ashley and the Veterans, one ‘The true spirit of leg ends’ shot and about half a dozen abortive attempts to capture the sun arcing off a Harvard prop.
Diplomatic.
We sort of collapsed in the FlyPast enclosure. Got to the hangar well after six, nobody seemed to be about. Next time?

Yes it was me who mentioned the combine harvester racing as well as bus and truck banger racing.

Thanks Andy , although seeing classic cars being used in banger races brings a tear to my eye :rolleyes: . Was it yourself who mentioned Combine Harvester racing ?? , that would be interesting:) 🙂

I agree Andy , I suspect even Damiens “bad photos ” would outclass my best !!!! , and you do not too badly yourself 🙂 🙂 , I’ll just keep trying and eventually I may get some decent shots:( 🙁

Same here Neil , I just print off airshow photos , and other interesting photos for my kid , there are a few good photographers on the Forum , I’m envious of their talent and eye for a good photo , I bought a decent camera and a couple of lenses but alas my photos are still rubbish , I gave up and never even took a camera to East Fortune on Saturday , some of the stuff that turns up on the Forum is superb , Keith Mac’s 40 year collection of his RAF career photos are excellent , Damien B – well , I’ve never seen a bad photo from him yet !! , even when Moggy bought his new camera his first attempts were excellent , Snapper always turns up some crackers ( and his banter with Ian is hilarious ) , Kev 35 turns up some beauties too – especially detail shots – and very kindly got some photos of a DB tug for me , Andrew (A330Crazy) always turns up with goodies .Let’s face it , if it’s got an aeroplane in it then it’s a good photo – no matter what – but these guys make it an artform – and are kind enough to share their work with us . 🙂 🙂

I only ever print the photos for my oldest son ( Jamie aged 6 ) to paste into his scrap book , without the efforts of Damien , Kev , Moggy , Snapper , Andrew , KeithMac and everybody else it would be a very slim book , but thanks to these enthusiasts my son is taking a good interest in everything aviation related , I would never reproduce them anywhere else without their permission without their skill and ability the Forum would be a dreary old board so I would never abuse their contributions , many thanks guys .

If you think you can use a 800 pix low res image then fine by me. If yo want to publish it on either a website or magazine then please ask, its only polite and I may be able to supply a better image.
Not that anything I do is a patch on DB’s and is worth doing anything with.

Anything I post on the net I do knowing it’s easily downloaded. My daily stuff is copyright (everything is) and I enforce that – but I am amongst fiends here and anything I post here you are welcome to.
