Erm, presumably it’s part of his job description… 😉

Fantastic shots ates hit, nice one of the Lanc running in over the beach. Recreating Mr Wallis’s Upkeep trials eh? 😉

Superb shots ates hit,

My apologies, but I couldn’t resist.

I agree with Damien. The Lanc nose head on is a real ‘Bomber Command tribute’.

Thanks for allowing us to join in on your ride…

Cheers!

Trying to get to grips with my 300D, just bought a sigma 80-400 image stabiliser lens for it which i think is made of iron. Hard to control in the lanc and the instructions recommend you dont use it in a movin vehicle eeeeerrrrrmmmm

Gyro stabiliser is probably the answer.

Got talking to a Canadian Warbird photographer at N Weald about ten year’s back and he’d built one at home (possibly from an airgraft gyro?)

Bit like rules, really – just take notice of the instructions if all else fails…

Fascinating pictures, thanks for posting.

ates hit, maybe you could answer a slightly unusual question for me – do you know, or could you find out the BS381C code numbers and colour names for the desert camo on Spit AB910 please?

TIA

Fantastic, you certainly are a lucky man. Wouldn’t want to clean the flies off the bomb aimer’s blister though 🙂

Flies? Thought it was flack from annoyed neighbours!!!;)
