PIK Monster and Baby 22-06-07

Excellent shots Kevin – must have been quite a sight! I’ve only been to PIK the once, but was lucky enough to catch the An-22 there (July 2003 if I remember correctly).

The wing span of that thing is phenomenal..but you could hardly call the AN124 it’s baby

Well PIK has been a gold mine lately, last week there were 4 KC135 and 3 C130 on the ground at the same time

What a day guys, be a long time before you top that! The An.225 came from Bangor as FL. ADB3270.

Have got to agree with pmn WOW must admit mate very very nice WELL Done. Going to go down for it tommorow morning if it is out at 9am.

There was to be a c17 landing as well , but the last I heard was that is was due at 1900 , so 3 big birds on the ground at the same time

WOW! That thing is absouloutly enormous. I like the view of it following the car, gives you the perspective of how big this thing really is! Is there a definite 8am departure time for this beast ?
