Another boring question. I’m trying to sort the various Hawks around and would welcome help. I have noted the following:
BAPC.49, the original 1896 aircraft displayed at East Fortune
BAPC.57, built in 1930 for the IWM, now displayed at Duxford (why the IWM?)
BAPC.45, built by Don Campbell and flown for TV programme in 1958; now displayed at Stanford Hall
BAPC.48, built 1966 by 2175 Sq. ATC, now with Glasgow Riverside (still in store?)
BAPC.131, reportedly built for filming, no further details
BAPC.170, built for the 1982-83 TV series “Kings Royal”; fate unknown
unidentified example photographed at Walsingham, Kent in 1976; origin and fate unknown
Anyone have any further details? Please!
