Pilot of Spitfire "Peter II" ?

Just to satisfy my curiousity….

At a car boot sale today a trader had a collection of (about 10) large prints of photographs of, I presume, the same man.

One showed him in uniform but in the ‘at ease’ position with tunic sleeve cuffs (and rank) hidden behind his back but he had RAF wings and some decoration ribbons.

Another had him sitting in a Spitfire cockpit with flying helmet on, etc. Under the cockpit was the name “Peter II” and the squadron code visible was WU (I think).

Anyone any idea who he might be??
