In this months GQ magazine and as reported in last nights Evening Standard, they listed the 10 best concerts ever….
Number 10 was
“Pink Floyd 4th August 1980 at Earls Court – It says ‘indoor Spitfire fighter planes, a monstrous teacher puppet, giant inflatable pigs and 160ft cardboard wall that crashed down for a spectacular finale’ “
OK so that has to be for ‘The Wall’ tour but what were the Spitfire fighter planes all about.. FSM’s Inflatable ones ?? Can any aging rocker (and warbird nuit) who was there expalin. Or prehaps Dave Gimour inhabits this place and can be me the low down (who was 14 at the time and missed it) though I still needed my ‘educashion’

I’m sure in a video that I have it’s a JU87 Stuka lool a like. Time to annoy the wife and play the whole video again.
