A huge search is taking places for a two-seat piper aircraft which crashed into the sea near Scarborough.
The aircraft which crashed into the sea at 16:15, departed Teeside (EGNV) before heading south.
The search is now been supported by two RAF and one POLICE helicopter.

Body of pilot found and plane was due to be lifted last night.

Update off the local news, said to have reported a ‘Mayday’ before dissappearing, one person on board.
