Piper Twin Comanche – G-AXMY

Hi all

Around 1970 I was lucky enough to accompany my father on a business trip from Manchester – Stapleford – Manchester on the above aircraft.

Whilst I have recollections of the flight, I was 10 at the time, I have to say I know very little of the aircraft itself except that it disappeared from the UK Register some years later, but I do not know why.

If anyone can give me some background on the aircraft I would be very grateful
