We’ve got DH ones on the shelf here in NZ, if you want one do you know anyone down here for the Omaka airshow who could collect it?

I thought ZK-JOT was the former WV666 that had the landing accident in the UK in the late 90s, having been ex St Athan and a spell out in the British Virgin Is in the 80s

Stan,
Does ‘JOT have a de-H or a Rotol prop?

It’s a bit of a funny one this.
The spinner on the Provost looks exactly the same as those on the Pembroke/Prince family – and I suspect it is the same.
As Merlin Pete says, the prop is Rotol, but the engine and cowling is (more or less) the same as the Prince/Pembroke and I suspect that the de-H spinner is capable of being fitted to the Rotol prop. I haven’t been able to confirm this but I do believe it to be the case.
I am also led to believe that some of the Provost aircraft had the de-H prop fitted (I think Varsity’s may be so), which only lends credence to my suspicion that, in order to provide commonality between installations, that the spinner/backplate will fit both makes of props.
Can anyone confirm or refute this?

Doubtful, the Piston Provost has a Rotol prop, unless some were fitted with the DH?
