Greaaaaaaaaaat!!
Never seen such a performance live. Really, the best I’ve ever seen. The Pixies were super!, at least according to the audience. Honestly, I don’t care David Bowie didn’t come tonight, this way, the Pixies got all the credits :D.

saw them last week at Hurrica (DE), as expected no interaction with the crowd, but music was good though

Has anyone heard the new single “Bam Thwok”? (or something similar). Where can you download it?
Anyway, I’ll see them tomorrow live.

Pixies-DVD
DVD Pixies – release April 15th
It is over two and a half hours separated into four categories; live footage, videos, tour footage and a documentary. Here’s how it’s broken down:
Live: A complete Pixies show from 1988 at London’s Town and Country Club.
Videos: Eight hard to find videos for Monkey Gone to Heaven, Here Comes Your Man, Velouria, Dig for Fire/Allison, Head On, Alec Eiffel and Debaser.
On the Road: Intimate, behind-the-scenes footage, mostly taken on the Pixies’ 1989 European tour.
Gouge: A documentary tracing the Pixies’ story featuring interviews with Bono, David Bowie, Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood (Radiohead), Graham Coxon and Alex James (Blur), Fran Healy (Travis), P J Harvey, Tim Wheeler (Ash) and Damon Gough aka Badly Drawn Boy.

Pinkpop too says Arthur. I thought I heard Pukkelpop, in (Belgian) Limburg. But indeed, May 30th, in the Netherlands too.

Pixies play T in the Park festival in Scotland too. I’ll be the one on stage pointing a camera at Kim Deal’s loveliness. 😉

And here’s the full list … start licking your fingers, music lovers. I ordered my ticket already … 4th of July. 😉

Why not? Franck Black is actually not a lazy man I think. Unfortunatelly it had to take 10 years to solve all problems between Francis and Kim, but most important is: they are back and they are going to bring us their original stuf, so not the evangelicals (which are good but not comparable). I never actually dreamed of seeing the pixies in concert in this lifetime, but miracles do happen. Now only getting married and earning my first billion remains on my “things to do before I die”-list.

Hey, if you book your ticket ASAP you haven’t got the right attitude to be a diehard fan 🙂
But i guess we’ll be meeting each other somewhere next year!
