I bought some time ago two plane ammo box, for this day I am trying to identify them. I hope someone can help me and tell me about what plane they are made for.
What I know:
They are made by aluminium or aluminium alloys.
Boxes are screwing together; Screw sizes indicate they are English screw.
They are made for CAL 30 (7.62mm) ammunition. (If it is not CAL30 it is really, really close).
What I can read on the box:
A circle stamp with the letter “N” inside (see picture)
A circle stamp with “G B 12 E” inside (see picture)
And also different number
A 817 08 , A 817 05, A 817 09, A 817 02, A 817 32, A 817 34, A 817 46 (sometime the A seems to be uncompleted like “ Ʌ “ maybe the stamp was old and the A is not complete in some parts?
B 816 59, B 816 57, B 818 55 Sometime the B seems to be a D maybe for the same reason?
Box size:
The small one: 28.5 cm high, 21.5 cm, 8.5 cm approx in inch (11; 8.3 ; 3)
The other one: 41.5 cm high, 14.5 cm, 8.5 cm approx in inch (16; 5.5; 3)
I unsuccessfully try to identify the numbers using this list:

I looked a lot of pictures about turret gunner and plane gun bay, what I have noticed is that my two ammo box are visually close to Hurricane ammo box. See 2 last pictures.
Is someone can help with the identification?
Stamps identifications?
What is size of hurricane ammo box?
Real hurricane ammo box pictures?
…
Thank you for your help
