Cameroon blames France for search delay.

The Cameroons have blamed the French center at Toulouse for the delay in locating the missing plane which was only 20 km from the airport. There is still confusion whether a distress signal was sent though.

I am been sachastick but it could be true as a crash for a modern aircraft Major airlines such as American Airlines will Take their’s out of service for maintinece and also any other airlines will put there orders on hold until the cause into the crash has been revealed

Now if this was the 3rd, 4th or 5th successive crash of a B738 with similar overtones, perhaps you would be right.

The only correlation between the two 738 hull losses, other than the fact they were the same model of aircraft, has been they were deadly.

With hundreds flying countless hours a month and only 2 unrelated crashes which so far seem to be nothing more than shear bad luck, the 738 is in NO danger of repurcusions.

I think the GOL loss counts as the first hull loss.:(

You can’t be sarcastic and mean it as a serious statement at the same time, or is that you being sarcastic about being sarcastic? My head hurts….

So your saying that an airline like Ryan air whos entire fleet is made up of the 800 model, should take all theres out of service with out any fault even been recognised.

Unless there is a specific, obvious fault on the crashed aircraft that’s known to be present in the rest of the world’s ‘800 fleet, I very much doubt operators will withdraw them from service or put orders on hold!

For the lesser intelligent of us, would you mind explaining why?

To prove your point, this is the second 800 to crash but actually I think one of your strings is out of tune here!:D

Isn’t it obvious? One of them has crashed, therefore the 738 is now considered to be an unsafe aircraft and not fit to fly.

Operators worldwide shall withdraw them from service, leave them neglected in the desert to rot for a few years then scrap them, safe in the knowledge whatever aircraft they’re replaced with shall remain in the skies without mishap… Forever…

Makes perfect sense to me.
