Plane crash, Stanton St John, Oxon?

In the boozer tonight, the topic came up of an aeroplane that apparently crashed by our cricket pitch in Stanton St John during WW2. Google throws up a Blenheim in the parish in June1940. My interest has been piqued, and I wondered if anyone knew of any other possibilities?

Thanks,

Adrian

You are correct, Kev.
That is the only aircrash I have recorded at Stanton St John.
It crashed while on a height test from West Raynham. Crew as stated.

Presumably this one?

6th June 1940. P4912 101 squadron Mk IV. Stalled and spun into ground, Stanton St. John, Oxon, derstroyed by fire; P/O Buller, Sgt. Macmillan and LAC Davidson killed.

Information from Warners Blenheim History.

Edited to add: Of course it was, your Google was obviously being friendly. Mine however was suffering from a little operator error.
