her words not mine:-
wife cooking your dinner, washing your clothes or cleaning the house
“No dinner no clean clothes and no clean house if theres a BLEEPING plane in my back garden”
“Spike66 it aint gonna happen”
Tangmere1940 you’ve caught her attention grow flowers out of it and its part of a plane, both happy……and Spike66 your idea in reverse:):)
Tangmere1940 tried sending you a pm about the Hunter your box is full, any chance on some more info?

How about a tail section, with all markings, from a Hunter? Ever so slightly bent and distressed….but not badly so. I happen to know where there is one! š
You could “plant” it in the ground, at a rakish angle, and grow a profusion of geraniums out of the jet pipe!
A garden ornament with a difference.

Iām not sure I see your problem…
…how is an aircraft in your garden going to affect your wife cooking your dinner, washing your clothes or cleaning the house? :diablo:
Just make sure theres room for the washing line….runs for cover :dev2:

What is the spit made of?
By: spike66 - 15th July 2009 at 14:31
Hi there ,
Why can’t you start with a nice prop :D…….. then maybe ‘find’ a nice engine to go with it ….. then perhaps a few instruments , which obviously would have to go in a c0ckpit , for their own protection , and maybe a cover for the engine , so on …..etc. etc . bit of fuse……. and tail then wing and undercart just to keep it mobile honest , just an idea , good luck with it .
I think you’re over the first hurdle , a prop , in my garden , hah !

Spitfireman
I thought I recognised that Spitfire, we were on approach into St Mawgan a few weeks ago in the Dash 8 and I commented about a Spit we saw in a garden below, now I know it’s yours š Amazing how small the world is.
Ok ok maybe we should have been concentrating on the approach, but we could use the plane again honest š
(I’m sure we saw it from the air and not the ground?)
