Plane spotters…heads up.

Yours truly will be flying into Le Bourget at around 1500 on Monday. B727. I can’t divulge more at this stage other than that
I’ll be stopping at the hotel on the airport for a few days if anyone wants to get together for a pint let me know.

I saw a few spotters at the airfield when we arrived but haven’t checked Jetphotos or Airliners yet.

Here’s a shot coming in over the coast and one of a sister ship that the owners of 2excel have bought and restored.

Don’t look for a tube at EGHL, way out in the boonies! Just watch for other motorless vehicles.

Happy flights!

Heads-up spotters, we’re bringing the plane to Lasham and will arrive on Monday afternoon (17 July 2017) as things stand.
I can’t say what the exact time will be but takeoff from DFFD will be at 0830Z so maybe around 1430Z.
You might be able to see us on Flight Radar or Flight Aware although we don’t have ADS-B, we do show up.
Reg is XT-BFA and callsign BFA99.

We were caught going in or out of Ataturk a while back.

We came to Brussels today and will probably depart Thursday early afternoon for ELLX (LUX)

Any members near the Grand Place?

No metro, you’re too far from the city, but there are busses connecting to it.

I think your starting point could be “musée de l’air et de l’espace” That’s close enough.

I think I lost a post. I will try again.
Jim I may be in the USA in June / July. Florida, DFW and DC. But it is not confirmed yet.
Tenthije I guess Eindhoven is far and I am limited to public transport. We are doing CRM training on Tues morning and leave Thursday afternoon.
Dean that’s a pity.
Can anyone tell me if there is metro station near Le Bourget ? Like walking distance.

Ralf that’s a shame it’s Le Bourget. I’m doing CDG 4 times in two days on Monday, it would’ve been great to meet up.

I have heard the hotel has run out of beer… any chance you could divert to, say, Eindhoven? First round’s on me!

Too bad I’m nowhere near Paris, I’d like to meet you and hear some stories about your African flying adventures….and to see a 727 again.
