just another ‘lets bash airbus’ thread – am getting tired of these threads especially as the originator is usually the same person.

It would be a bit hypercritical from a company which has used the same features (fuselage) for B707, 727, 737, 757 etc… and thats without starting on the B737-100 thru -900, series, which are essentially modifications to a 40+ year old design! 😉
Not knocking it though, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! :diablo:
I don’t think that was the point of this fun poking video.
I’d say it was more to do with Airbus claiming their re hashed A330 was the superior plane. Its an old video, note how they say “7e7”.
Anyway, looks like it was just a bit of fun 😉

I was under the impression that the 757 was a new aircraft that was not a modification of the 707/727.
It was, Just used the same cross section at the 707 for the fuselage.

Albeit with a different cockpit/nose, the 757 uses the same basic fuselage as the 707, 727, 737 series aircraft, ie. same dimensions and components.

Change of subject, but can anyone confirm that the B 787 is having difficulties with the test program???
Hear that everything is not going to planPaul
Last news was that there were a few hiccups with a fuselage test barrel which was overcome by two further barrels.
Production of the first airworthy parts is now underway.
