Any more PlayStation 2 fans on the forum? I got one for Christmas and it’s one of the best electric gadgets I’ve got, it’s saved me having to buy a seperate DVD player, will play music CDs and the games are great. If there are other PlayStation 2 fans around I would love to hear about your favoutite games.[http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/sabenabelgianairlines]

RE: PlayStation 2
comet- You can get rechargeable battery packs that are specifaccly designed for the gameboy. You dont have to take it out to recharge, you just plug in the socket from a wall adapter, and you can play it while its recharging. A recharge will usually last about 5 hours.

RE: PlayStation 2
My first console was the Game Boy (a pocket see through one). I had a few decent games for it but the other games coming out now won’t work on it. The Game Boy did guzzle batteries though, they didn’t last. I think the GBA is handy for taking on holiday and things, maybe I’ll get one some day. I’m hoping to get my first computer some time when I’ve got a new flat but that will have to wait a while. (I’ve just got to have a go on one of the Flight Simulation games).

Mixtec to answer your question (sorry for the late reply), I think F-14 is a pretty good game. Once you get used to it, you’ll find it to be a great game. It has some interesting passwords you can put in where you fight either UFO’s or Fokker Triplanes instead of the MiG-29’s. Also, I like the cruise missile thing in the game as well.
I also recommend Army Men: Air Combat, although it is for Game Boy Color, it will work for Game Boy Advance. That game is great fun once you learn the hang of it.
I too recommend the Game Boy. I have the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and the Game Boy Advanced and they have all provided me with years of great fun and entertainment.

Comet- Both Shawn Palmer Pro Snow Boarder and Tony Hawk Pro Skater are on Game Boy Advance. I have the Shawn Palmer one, and it really excellent with great courses, good graphics and plenty of difficulty levels. If you want something you can carry around and play anytime (say if you commute on mass transit or something) I recomend the Gameboy.

RE: PlayStation 2
Gran Turismo 3 is one of my favourites, I was part of my PS2 package so it was literally the first game I played. Ace Combat is good, the NHL series are fun and so is Silent Hill, I’ve completed Silent Hill 2 twice and I’m also playing Silent Hill. Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 are also good fun.

RE: PlayStation 2
PII- How would you rate F-14 Tomcat as a flight sim? Once again the I think graphics are good, but I find the screen size and toggle button makes dogfighting a little delicate as apposed to a full size pc game. I like Topgun for GBcolor just because that little F-14 looks so cool.

As I said, I’m all about Nintendo stuff. I have a Game Boy Advance and I love it. I’ve got some good games for it too, including F-14 Tomcat, Super Mario World, Jurassic Park III: Park Builder, and Mario Kart Super Circuit. I highly recommend all these games to you guys.

RE: PlayStation 2
Does anyone here have Gameboy Advance? Ive been playing Rogue Spear on that, and the quality of the graphics and sound effects is incredable. Ive lonewolfed 13 of the 15 levels on elite, so I think Ive almost got the game mastered. The Road Rally game for GBA is I think equal in quality to full size tv-box Road Rally games.

RE: PlayStation 2
I bought one a few months ago and have really enjoyed it. I only have one game and that is Ace Combat 4. Really fun game though!
Personally though, I’m a Nintendo guy and I have had a Gamecube since Christmas. I love the Gamecube!
The PS2 is my first system that was not made by Nintendo.
