please can any one identify this ?

please can anybody help identify this part please.it was a geyish blue colour originally.

Yup! Part number’s the clincher. It looked a bit too long for that.

Here’s a pic of a “real” Shack front spinner in grey. Not much in it but the stripey one looked longer to me.

Unless there is some distortion of the size in the photo, it looks far too long for a Shack (front) spinner.

I was wondering if it might be Pembroke / Sea Prince, certainly similar to photos of spinners from those, but there are no real close ups.

Not Yak 11, the writing on it is in English, something that is clearly a few years old, probably few decades, and Yak would be in Russian.

It appears to be a de-Havilland propeller spinner – but not from a Growler.

Apropos Shack props

Shackleton

What sort of props did the Shack have, understanding that there were two sets for each engine. Was at least one set (rotating the same way) the same as Lancaster- Lincoln ?

Its a three bladed propeller spinner and both sets of props on the Gannet are four bladed.
