Hoffman propellers
Hoffman have been manufacturing props since before WW2 right up to the present day. They make composite blades to replace the wooden Rotol types found on Spitfires and Hurricanes as well as German warbirds which had VDM wooden blades.
I believe the blade you have to be modern and from a Navajo twin. If not Navajo then something of similar size and engine type – but definitely modern.

It may not be a German propeller because Hoffmann make blades for other types, Rotol Spitfire propellers for example.

Hi there i have had a little clean up of the blade and uncovered a data plate of sorts on the blade itself …it reads : Propellerwerk Hoffmann , so its German
any more information would be great all the best Matt

They appear to be just inspectors stamps. There is one with 04 under it which could be significant as a year date though it could be older than that.
The six-figure number looks like a blade serial number but without a manufacturer it’s meaningless.
I might have a further guess at a Mcauley prop but can’t offer anything further to that.

Prop i/d
It looks relatively modern to me. I’d go for Navajo.

The blade stands at about 41 inch high including the boss, does anyone reconise the stamps? or know who to contact? or where to look to find out any more of its history? it really would be nice to find out just what aircraft it was from.
