HI M8,

Two ways you can do it. One wireless and one cabled. Wireless I prefer, but heres both solutions.

Cable : – Crossover cable required to suit length between 2 pcs, and also network cards for each computer (normally not needed these days as pcs come with ethernet port). Connect cable and set up adhoc network. This will enable two computers to be linked over network but should both have different ip adresses.

Wireless : – As above but with two wireless connectors instead of cable.

Then to fs9….. one computer can host and the other in mulitplayer connection can select or enter the host computer IP address and connect.

One pc is a lap top so can be brought local to the other. Do you need to go through a router or can there be a direct cable connection?

I would prefer not to go via the ‘phone line as other members of the family like to use the telephone for conversations.

Have you got both PCs near each other or do you want to play “online” via each others PCs from a distance? can you elaborate on this please
