Some cracking colour shots of the Prentice and Pembroke. Two types I would love to fly in. I was trying to wangle a Pembroke flight with 60 Sqn at Wildenrath but sadly it never materialised before they got rid of them

Thanks for those TNZ. Of course anyone can add percivals to the thread. The more the better.

If this is a “add your Percival aircraft pic” thread then here’s mine.

Taken earlier this year at Wings Over Wairarapa Airshow here in NZ.

Some more Percivals but this time all are JPs. For those who are as pedantic as myself, I realise that T5s are correctly BAC and not Percival. However I like to keep all the JPs together so here they are! All these are from negatives I purchased and are not taken by me. There is a query with XS216 as my database shows this as having been SOC on 05/06/73 after a mid air collision. Although it landed safely there is no sign of damage in the photo.

Thanks Glyn & Atlantic1, as a Luton lad I’ve developed a softspot for Percivals so great photos.

Steve.

PS. I’m booked to fly on the Prentice on April 1st, now all we need is for atlantics Pembroke to get an Air Transport Cof A!

Very nice. The JP was taken at Benson on Battle of Britain day (I fogetw which year off hand), and the Steam Provost was at Abingdon’s display in 1963 – I was probably standing next to whoever took the photo!
