Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 Ishak "Red 9"

The Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 Ishak ZK-JIN “Red 9” has been cancelled from the New Zealand register as from 12Mar2009 as “exported”.
Anyone know where this aircraft has now gone?

Rata destination: Europe !!!!!!!!!

Hello all,
there is a fair chance that it will appear in Germany…… On Flugzeugforum the arrival of a Rata was recently mentioned… It is supposed to be based in Mannheim !
My question would be: will it be at FL………………?????????

I-16 ZK-JJC “White 39” was the one that went to Spain in 2005 as EC-JRK with Fundacion Infante De Orleans, Cuatro Vientos and is now in Spanish colours as “CM-249”.
Of the others, ZK-JIP “45”, ZK-JIQ “4”, ZK-JIR “28” and I-153 ZK-JKN “16” have all gone to the USA.
By my reckoning, ZK-JIO “34” and I-153 ZK-JJB “10” are still in NZ.
I-153 ZK-JKM “75” is still currently registered, but ownership was transferred to Parc Aeronautic De Catalunya Foundation, Spain, in August 2008 so it may have already gone as well.

Any chance this was the machine that some time ago was sold to the Spanish outfit? A shame regardless where it went, seeing as JIN was the first to fly since the 50s, and was always my favourite.
