Polish Air Force Medals

For future reference for other readers perhaps you would care to elaborate on route/procedure involved to get your grandfather his medals.

Hello all,

Grandad has now managed to get his Medals all bar the French Resistance and Polish one. I have copies of the Ribbons of the medals and also of the French Resistance card that intitles my Grandad to the medal.

It is possible that by contacting the relevant Veteran section, within that link that you achieve some useful advice/suggestions from other Polish veterans.

I have just been on that site before looking at this link. I will try there.

Just seems very unhelpful in how the letter that my Grandad received the other day.

We have, sorry My Grandad has been in contact with te APC Polish and have been told that they do not issue them and more and you can buy them from these places.

Now I think this is out rageous!

As you are refering to Polish Air Force medals I would suspect that it is not the the MOD in UK that you need to contact but the Polish equvalent or Air force in Poland.
