Polished P40

In the aviation monthlies within the last couple of months, there were pictures of a just finished, highly polished, early P40 at Chino which was destined “for a European owner”.

The sight of the Red Bull P38 at Duxford in its highly polished state made me wonder whether the Red Bull stable will also be the destination of that shiny P40.

Is this the case?

P40

Another Ex Soviet P40B/C airframe and still no Russian scheme. Thats four restored now and none carry an historic scheme.

I know they are not the crowd puller but have always preferred an historic scheme to a fictitious one.

Great work by Matt Nightingale and team though.

It sure would be nice if Mr Grey was interested grabbing an award or 3 at OskKosh before sending this and his previous US rebuilds, to England.:D
