Pooley's Diary: Help!

Can anyone come up with a serious (heaven help me) suggestion as to how I can acquire a Pooley’s Diary.

The Pooley’s shop at Elstree is spitting distance from where I live. But it is always closed.
I have rung their number. No answer.
I have emailed. No answer.

I could go mail order, but the P&P would probably cost nearly as much as the diary.

It really shouldn’t be that difficult.

That’s almost funny. But ‘Bob!’ was a girl dressed as a man.

Is Pooley a Blackadder “Bob” then? 😉

Did you know that Bob Pooley is, or at least was, a member of the British Women’s Pilot’s Association?

Oh well. Maybe next year.

You should have been at Popham when Bob Pooley came in and delivered them. Most of us were given one!

Per’aps they are taking the long ‘oliday, no?

You may be right. I have not seen the shop open in several years. It may just be that my timing is bad, but I have tried all sorts of days and times. The advert for it on the back of the Flightstore catelogue does not even give contact details!

met24. You are a hero. See you tomorrow.

Janie — I’ll pick one up for you tomorrow. What colour?

I got mine from Transair, although admittedly it had £2.95 P & P with it (I think). Very quick delivery though.
