Portelli Spitfire – will it fly?

I have just seen on G-INFO the engine that has been installed in the Portelli Spitfire SM520 G-ILDA.

Crumbs!

Engines: 1 – 1 x LE RHONE 110 HP

What a picture that conjures up.

Thats a lot of castor oil needed; it won’t just be the A/C that gets regular use.

They’re going to need at least 15 x 110hp engines to get it off the ground.

A good job it is a two seat Tr.IX.

Pilot up front…and flight engineer at the rear.

Wonderful….and funny at several levels.

Now step forward you ‘Photoshop/PSP’ manipulators and do you worst. 🙂
