Portugal may dispose of some/all F-16's?

In the military aviation news thread there is an article concerning a prospective purchase of Portuguese F-16’s by Romania.

According to F-16.net Portugal acquired 45 block 15 aircraft. I can see that a purchase might suit Romaia very well but where does that leave Portugal? With 1 squadron of fighters?

Portugal is experiencing severe financial problems. I wonder if they are interested in a sale of say half their aircraft to cut costs.

Any ideas anyone?
