Had the Nigerian Jags on it lol, they gave him a gmail address for the Nigerian Embassy lol, the pictures looked nice, well they would wouldn’t they, I believe BAe looked at them bearing the fact they had few hours on the ( about 150 ) but tin worm had set in. If memory also serves me correctly they were underwritten by the UK and the Nigerians only paid the first one or two payments, so the UK ended up footing it.. Would make ownership interesting.
Btw it should read Posh Pawn, but that wouldn’t get you reading it 😉

Oddly enough John the ex RAFG Jags we’re low hours, and their wings went from Cosford to Oman, to rewing theirs.

we looked into them with a view to cannibalising them for the wings when fatigue was starting to become an issue, but they were in very poor condition even then (late 90s).
Anecdotally, when our Sqn Ldr went out there to survey them, he asked where all the spares had gone and was directed to a corner of a derelict hangar where they were all piled up. He was advised not to go near due the area being infested, with snakes, spiders and other nasty beasties!
